ART SHOW
There will be a showing of oil paintings at the Terrebonne Parish Library, main branch, on Monday, December 17th beginning at 7:00 p.m. and ending around 8:30 p.m. Over 70 paintings will be on display from local artists, including myself. I have three oil paintings which you will be able to view. They are entitled:
Gone Fishin' - an impressionistic oil painting utilizing Monet's techniques with a little artistic free rein; i.e., cajun ingenuity (my own).
Day's Gone By - a oil wash utilizing only one color (Payne's Gray) to paint a cajun scene. It looked like a black and white painting until I splashed a little color onto it...lol.
Serenity - The photograph I took at Lake Martin of the Cypress Reflections is now forever captured in oils.....and there's a great white heron waiting patiently for the next fish to swim by.....
Everyone is invited to attend. It's free and open to the public; refreshments will be served. Hope to see you there!

For the first time I entered here but..........I hope to be still living when I end to read and more over understand all. My official interprter, my daughter Tiziana cannot come soon from La Spezia where she works so that.......
