"A TASTE OF LOUISIANA"

I, along with twelve other Louisiana artists, are exhibiting art work at the Louisiana State Museum in Patterson.  The exhibit, entitled "A Taste of Louisiana,"  will depict scenes inspired by our state and its rich culture.

My work on display includes the following:

  •     Reflections - Cypress trees of Lake Martin on canvas
  •     Oak Alley Plantation - on canvas
  •     Mourning - Weeping angel; Metairie Cemetery
  •     Madewood Plantation - Collection of five images 
  •     Morning Love - Couple on bench looking over the river

You are cordially invited to attend a reception to be held on January 23, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. until 7:30.  Admission is free and open to the public.  The works will stay on display until mid March.  The museum is located just west of Morgan City over the bridge.  The address is 118 Cotten Road, which is on the left.  You can see a map by clicking on this link:
